Been a hot one today...... however, supposed to be a bit cooler tomorrow. I dont mind the heat daytime, but at night? Phew! Just had one walk first thing this morning.... the rest of the day Ruby has just chilled out. She is not a dog that is worried by the heat, but I still keep her inside during the hottest part of the day. It upsets me to see people walking their dogs in this heat.... it wont hurt them to forego exercise for a few days. The budgies have had a spray of tepid water this morning.... they love it and it encourages them to preen. Just hoping I can get some sleep.... the Fairy princess is in wakeful mode, coming to life as it cools a little. After all, it wouldnt be Ruby not to have her night time zoomies! Off to bed now.
