Been a long first day at the 32nd Vietnam Veterans Reunion in Kokomo, IN today. Very moving and emotional opening ceremony with a local High School class lifting a huge American flag and carrying it to the flag poles as the National Anthem was sung. Followed by taps and rifle salute. Lots of people here. Usual estimate is close to 30,000 plus. Afterwards we spent the rest of the afternoon with the American 369 Huey staff just down the road from the reunion site. What a great bunch. They treat us like one of the family. We will be volunteering and working with them till Monday. Missing little Stetson but Angie is taking good care of him as this is just too busy of a place for him to be at.
