Been a rough couple of days, our beautiful Khamsin ERA, my sole mate, was bitten by a snake yesterday morning. We were so lucky as we managed to get the vet and the Antivenom administered very quickly. Khamy seems good today, but we have to keep an eye on him.... his blood showed it was a snake bite but not what kind... the symptoms were for a brown snake bite and there has been a brown snake hanging around the stables for the last week, he was actually in the stable with Spirite and Afrikah last week, and the day before yesterday he was in our wood pile, I tried to get a snake wrangler out to take him away, calling everyday but no one will come.... does anyone have any idea what we can do to keep these snakes away from the stable and yard areas.... after Khamy being bitten I am absolutely paranoid... :(
