Been a while since I updated this EO Virtual Classroom. My dear father just passed on a week ago, and the emotions are still tender.. As much as it wrenched my entire heart & soul to say this, I knew that DEATH is an inevitable part of life. And no amount of medication, therapeutic-grade essential oils or care can deny it’s calling when it is due. So it was with my dear father. And I am learning to Embrace & Let Go.. Nevertheless, what I believe with my heart & soul too, is, So long our dear parent is still ALIVE, BREATHING AND FEELING, it is our utmost duty to Do Whatever It Takes to provide the Quality of Life that they deserve, within whatever constraints or limitations that we may have; Massage, Listening Ears to their constant & repetitive questions, Hugs, Rubs & Strokes, Food that Comforts them, whatever.. If it’s taxing Physically, Do It Anyway. If it’s taxing Emotionally, Do It Anyway. If it’s taxing Financially, Do It Anyway. Even if you think the ‘Return-on-Investments’ is zero & neither is there a glimmer of Hope, Do It Anyway. Coz the best gift anyone could ever give to their loved ones, is to provide them with as much Ease & Comfort (both Physical & Emotional) as possible, in their Last Days, and Hours.. of Life.. Valor, Sacred Frankincense, PanAway, DiGize Essential Oils; diffused & gently massaged. And the sweet smell of JOY, lovingly rubbed on his arms, ears and hair, my last parting gift to my dear father, on his death bed, till his last breath...
