Been an unbelievably busy year for us. Started last Jan when we did a road trip holiday touring the length and breadth of NZ, it was like driving through a Lord of the Rings film set for 3 weeks. Went into London to cheer on a friend running in the marathon. We have had a few weekends away catching up friends in Yorkshire and family in Hampshire. We did another driving holiday through France, into Andorra & Spain, and a stop in Monaco before coming home, all in the girly MX5 :-) . Dropped MJTravels off at Heathrow in May. Had a great weekend camping with the Braysons up at Searles in Hunstanton. Got slightly better down at EFPC on Saturdays, played golf a few times (still crap), got the longbow out and did some clout shooting, still get bruised every Thursday at Krav Maga (but not so many facial injuries) got Lorraine into Kayaking and went SCUBA diving for the first time in 14 years in Fuerteventura in Sept. Caught up with some friends from the old Cuckoo Hall days. Saw the Eagles and Lee Evans at the O2 (not together) and Al Murray in Cambridge. On top of all that we still found time to spend 4 months doing up a house in Braintree. I’m really getting too old for all this Sh*t….still sod it, proves I’m still alive. Loads planned for 2015 to get some more of those “been there” moments before we get too old, decrepit and frightened to go anywhere. So far we’ve sorted a trip to Venice for Lorraine’s birthday, more camping, another road trip, a weekend kayaking paddle and me going back to the Le Mans 24h race in June. Just like to say thanks for sharing part of your (sometimes weird) lives on here. I know some of you have had a crap year, I did in 2013 but it really does get better and sorry to use an old cliché but time is a great healer . The only person that can change your life is you.
