Been cooking a Thanksgiving meal all day long for a non-profit serving women and children in Ward 7. These women come together with varying degrees of need and the organization guides them towards solving their own problems and giving back to their communities. Once a month I show up with a full meal for their planning meetings. I love those days. While they tend to request rather simple fare, they love that I kick it up with interesting flavors and theyre always asking questions. So, you use fresh thyme? Wow! Thats expensive but, Ima try that. Im thankful for them and the love :). #thanksandgiving
