Been getting messages of concern from friends and family from around the country so I thought Id give an update The Doll house still has power, drove the girls to school (they still dont have a regular bus driver resulting in a 3 hour-bus driver got lost and ended up near the airport then circled the wrong side of the city for an hour-then got lost again and-getting home at 7pm, nightmare) and will continue to do so until they get a regular driver, Unfortunately, my Russian Olive tree out front has, despite my tree shaking aerobics, lost a good 15 feet off the top and is weighed down so that most branches are bent down to the ground. Driving the neighbourhood is depressing. So many 60-80 yr old trees are down, losing branches or split down the middle. The roads are generally in good condition as it is about 1 degree out and most of the snow is melting on the ground.
