Been going through 19th century Raguva, Panevėžio Apskritis, Lithuania Parish books written in Cyrillic Russian most of the morning. Looking over my shoulder it may appear i know what Im doing, in fact Im blindly looking at words and letters that all look the same and are only causing me anxiety. My ancestors are indeed in the pages of these books, their births, marriages and deaths. They live on in the hand written records im blankly staring at, only thing standing between us is translation. For now i need to walk away, i need to rest my eyes and mind. I think ill put on my thermal gotchies and go walk around in the woods for a while.
