Been having a turn signal problem on my 89 R100GS. Left front signal wouldnt light. After studying a schematic and measuring for continuity, I knew the problem had to be a break in the conductor between the signal and the red junction under the tank. Stripped down the first six inches or so of the wire bundle and used a needle and a digital volt meter to test for continuity along the wire. Found a 1/16 break in the copper about 18 from the spade connector. Soldered in a jumper and covered with some marine grade heat shrink tubing. Good as new!
