Been having headaches and I knew my eyes were getting worse.I also knew my left eye was acting weird. I saw Dr. Joyce today and he told me I had some significant changes in the right eye, paused and then said I had vitreous fibrosis in the left eye. Kind of a rare thing. This produces the same symptoms as macular degeneration but is caused by a different issue. It is a progressive thing and now is only causing minor problems. We are going to keep a close eye on it in the years ahead. There is a risky microsurgery as an option down the road, if I would choose. Im very blessed to have had such great eyes for this many years. Beware, next time you see me I will have glasses. Real ones. And if you want me to see you well, just stand on my right side. Just kidding . . . mostly. :)
