Been hoping for some aurora action tonight been watching the magnetometer some movement on the -BZ side but not massive. The prediction model had shown the plasma density to hit earth at the highest time around midnight so lets hope for a 1st aurora of 2015 in the early hours. My Hf Radio has been on all evening with antennas pointing to north pole which can tell if the aurora is alive or not , its has been bubbling here low all evening which means north Scandinavia has it . Happy New Year to all aurora chasing friends and I hope 2015 brings some large CME displays (thought you might like to see where I hear the aurora before you see it)
