Been making numerous changes to a few of my planned albums as Ive been writing more. And I think with that has come something of a fresher perspective. Mainly song switches, for example certain newer songs are replacing certain older ones. Im definitely enjoying myself in the process, but I dont know something in me just cant help but think slightly negatively on why I havent been able to release anything yet. Ive been at this a while and I just feel as though I should have been able to release something! Ive been thinking its partially because somethings (besides some of the music of course), arent as finished as I originally thought. Clearly, since Ive been making these changes and I guess I wouldnt feel comfortable debuting an EP or album that has these gaps. I guess its kind of hard to explain. I didnt see certain songs as gaps when I was younger, but looking at them now they just dont fit the overall essence of the album so I replaced them! I still want to play those songs just separate from a whole record. Im done now I believe with the changes, because I no longer see gaps, everything clicks. Now I just wish I could properly work on the music I constantly hear in my head to accompany my lyrics!! Maybe soon Ill be able to, a feeling I got... Ciao, FlyTraps Venus Axe
