Been nominated twice now so decided I should probably stop avoiding it and get this thing done! Hope Jemma Masters and Lynda Moore appreciate this effort to take a break from my currently busy schedule of feeling sorry for myself! ;-) Here is 7 things people may or may not know about me 1. I love to read. Mainly anything Terry Pratchett/Douglas Adams. Also read unnaturally fast although aware that this is a result of being an over-enthusiastic skim-reader so often have to re-read the page to make sure I havent missed any vital detail😒 2. My dream is to go to Norway. Also New Zealand for the LOTR tours. And Salzburg. And Machu Picchu. And Switzerland. And Laos. Pinterest makes me want to hop on the next plane, anywhere, everyday. 3. I can be a bit of an airhead. But in my defence this has got me a place on Richard Bransons website on some page about the silly things KIDS say, after my mum tweeted something I said. At this point I should also probably mention that the other quotes on this page were from children aged 10 and under.. I was 18. 4. A perhaps more frustrating example of my airheadedness is f***ing up a chance of meeting Meg Ryan at the David Bowie Is exhibition at the Victoria And Albert museum in 2013. The man on the door informed my mum and I that she had just gone in. I then put my headset on, and told mum to Keep an eye out for Meg Ryan at the top of my lungs. A woman in front of us turned around and gave me a (slightly sympathetic) smile.. it was only as she disappeared into the crowd that I realised who it was. 5. Ive always favoured horrors, even as a child I would choose Goosebumps over Disney. Zombies over princesses errday. That being said, I do love a bit of Cinderella and co. But a zombie apocalypse would definitely liven things up a bit. 6. Ive been a vegetarian since I was 3, after hating meat based baby food since I was in a high chair. 18 years on and Im still intent on lecturing my family over eating animals! 7. Almost as if in pre-revenge(?) for said lectures, my parents tricked myself and my brother for years into believing that the tune from the ice-cream van was in fact a spicy vegetable van to stop us pestering them for a 99p Flake. Although in hindsight, Id be pretty appreciative of a visit from a spicy vegetable van every now and again! Portable curry yeaaaah please. Ive rambled. Time to nominate: Jamie Weavers Joe Wills Darbyshire Bryony McDermott and Leah Tansley (unsure if you guys have already done one if so oops!) x
