Been on the other end of delays for a change. Just had a brilliant afternoon at Stepping Hill Hospital which managed to recovery from its recent bout of efficiency and drop back to meet my low expectations. After three quarters of an hour driving round looking for a parking space gave up and parked 15mins away from hospital. Marks appointment was 14:20 and we arrived 14:05 so well in time, at 14:50 a nurse came out say they were running 50 mins late. Positive then at least they are telling us whats going on, nope we went in to see the consultant at 16:00 which in my world is a delay of 100mins! Oh and no reason for delay given other than they were very busy. Oh and when we went in to see the consultant we were in for 90seconds for him to tell us he couldnt really see anything on the MRI scan which had only been done last night (so what i really think he meant was he hadnt had time to look at it) and asked us to come back in a fortnight. So in conclusion Mark missed the whole afternoon of school (which he can ill afford) and i end up with a parking ticket, still no wiser as to extent of Marks injury and we have the pleasure of the whole fiasco again in a fortnight. :)
