Been on the road for days working and flat on the bed since I got back. I wasnt supposed to go but I missed him terribly. I was quite afraid that I would see my most-loved son with tantrums and temper for not seeing me for many days. I got a long and warm hug and when I said sorry for being away again tomorrow because I am scheduled to head for Vigan, he says, Okey Mama, haanka madnagan kaniak, okeyak!; then he kisses me in the forehead as we say goodbye. Thank You Bosing for looking after the people I love as I do what must be done. Ada man na life sentence san kan itayen Bosing. I see the fear in my sons eyes but as I tell him everything will be alright he tells me squarely in the eyes....No mama, when my lawyer comes, I want to hear my chances of being free. I do not want false hopes, I need to be ready. Just this morning I was thinking that for the past month or so, I have been so anxious of what will happen that Ive forgotten that there is SOMEONE UP THERE who will take care of it all. My son says we must be ready to accept what will happen. I will have to remind myself all over again that what is meant to happen, will happen. Random thoughts. Chaotic emotions. Writing it out of my system.
