Been spending a fair amount of time to try to discover a title for this next C.D. Im recording. I dont know why this one has been so different an experience working on it. Not the logistics of writing and recording, thats a no brainier. Going to another place to record and the different process of that experience is to be expected. I have always written from my life experiences. Some might been offended by that since if you are in my life my experience with you can very well at some point of time and at some level end up in a song. But lately its been different. The difference being in my opinion, that the writing and recording process, having some one else produce and call the shots, plus the the down time of just hanging out, talking and sharing wonderful times as family between sessions, has flavoured my life experience as a whole. It feels good and sometimes not so good. I have a few title ideas in limbo. 1.Im just a mess 2.It only gets worse 3.Intrenched and hunted by the signs of the times. # 1 is ironic because of the quality of the songs, one might think that represented someone who is whole and has it together. #2. represents how hidden pain in the artist can and on some level might be a major factor in his or her art being as good as it is. #3. Speaks for it self and looks like the one I might go for.
