Been thinking a lot about the movie Warm Bodies lately. See, for me, it was one of those films that I felt pressed to see when I first viewed the preview, one of those films that the Spirit whispered to me about, saying, you should see that one, Raleigh, itll be similar to your life. That happens with me from time to time, like a puzzle invite, as I have aforementioned. Anyway, watched it. Loved it. It was a bit gross on occasion, but it had heart. I just cant figure it out though. With all my many problems, i must admit that Ive been like a zombie for so many years, like the main guy, R, who, by the way, actually kinda looks like a Campbell, might I add, but also, someday, if I had a daughter, I could really see myself being extremely protective of her and generally very controlling and Captain-like, which is a lot like Julies stern dad, played by John Malkovich. Puzzling the possibilities together as I simply cant refrain from doing when such a puzzle invite comes my way, I have narrowed my fate down, as this game usually encourages, to one of them two: I could end up like R, or I could end up like Julies dad. My question is, which one? I would much rather be R, of course, because he is young, decent looking, and he ends up with the love of his life, but still, part of me wonders if I will end up like the ugly old guy, Julies stern dad, because I could see myself becoming just like him in so many ways, and I am willing to accept a less than perfect destiny, having been through my share of trials. And also, I wonder, oh how I wonder, who will be my Julie? And how will i know? Or ... maybe I am completely wrong about all of this and just analyzing it all so extensively for no reason at all, which Ive also been known to do. Whatever. Guess we will see before the end of my days. But yeah, welcome to the never-ending anxiety of the curious mind of Raleigh.
