Been thinking of why this whole DJax to SF does not make sense. - TopicsExpress

Been thinking of why this whole DJax to SF does not make sense. First of all we drafted TE Vance McDonald in the 2nd round last year and is very well highly favored by Baalke. Second of all we just made FB Bruce Miller the 3rd highest paid FB in the NFL (the first two are not even true FBs). In order for them to play we would have to run a 21 personnel or 22 personnel offensive formations (1 TE 2 RBs = 21) (2 RB + 2 TE = 22). By SF playing Crabtree, Boldin, Jackson, Davis, and Gore on the field we would have to run 11 Personnel. Notice at Stanford Jim Harbaughs most productive WR went undrafted (Doug Baldwin) while Coby Fleener and Zach Ertz were drafted in the top two rounds. This does not match the Harbaugh philosophy at all. This will make the Vance McDonald high selection totally irrelevant from last year. Throw in the factor of Kaepernick, Aldon Smith, Crabtree, Iupati are all do for extensions while bringing him in it makes NO SENSE after being unhappy with his contract from Philly. This is not even about what DJax might have that other teams are skeptic but from why it does not make sense bringing him in period. In 2008 I would of gave up a finger to land DJax in the draft. Now I do not want this guy anywhere on the team due to attitude concerns, takes plays off or does not give full effort when the ball is going the other way, and is not a good blocker. I have never seen a team release a 1000 yard WR and give a publicized racist and a guy that just tore his ACL a contract extension over a season worth of news and speculation. I see smoke somewhere and I bet you the fire is close by. Solution: Draft Brandon Cooks and be done!
