Been throwing around the idea of selling my drag car as a roller - TopicsExpress

Been throwing around the idea of selling my drag car as a roller and moving on to a new project. This is a 2006 Evo 9 RS. It used to be red and was recently painted white pearl. The exterior is a blue pearl and the engine bay/roll cage is a teal pearl. The chassis was Tyler Wolfs who still holds the stock turbo world record. Tyler and myself took this car into the 9s on the stock block. Wet weight was just over 2200 lbs without a driver in the configuration we had. Still on the stock rear rotors and driveshaft as well as stock front and rear subframes. I cant even count the amount of hours put into this car from cutting weight and fabricating. You wont have to do much more than drop in your drivetrain and you have one of the lightest evos currently in existance. The way the car currently sits is as follows 06 RS 25.5 roll cage Custom tubed rear end with tin work Custom tubed front end with easy removable front bumper Custom motormounts Fluidyne radiator with custom end tank and -10 fittings (was designed with the front end so Ill keep it with it) Brand new SE lip Rota slipstreams Hoosier 8.5 tires with 6 passes Muteki sr48 black lug nuts Whiteline roll center kit Lightened front control arms Curt Brown wheel bearings ARP extended studs all around Angry aero bumper shutters (has hold on driver side for intake) and mirror deletes Oem headlight lenses Oem taillight lenses Kirky seat Painless 6 switch panel Simpson harness steering wheel and hub Shroud window net Buschur RS brake master delete STM staging brake Lexan windows all the way around Custom 2.5 gallon fuel cell Twin Bosche 044 fuel pumps -8 an fittings and line all the way up Gutted doors Simpson parachute Buschur rear diff solid mounts Buschur mustache bar Fiberglass JDM rear bumper (currently is cracked from backing into something) Rear oem brembos (no rotors) No front brakes Stock suspension In parts alone is roughly $10,000. Roll cage is roughly $4-5k. None of which including the labor hours, the tube work front and rear, and the cost of the car. Serious inquiries PM me and Ill send more pictures of the car. Im going to start my asking price at $20k. Im not going to listen to anyone complain on the price. Add a $10k built drivetrain to it and you have a $30k drag car for far less then youll ever get having a shop build it. I am willing to negotiate the removal of certain parts to lower the price. Im also pretty picky who the car will go to. Ill make the call before I agree to sell it.
