Been to watch walking on Sunshine this afternoon. At first I thought they had sacrificed the plot line for the soundtrack. Half an hour later I wished they had really majored on the sound track and let the plot line go to hell... As clear an attempt to clone Mama Mia as you could ever hope (fear?) to see. Greg Wise was the Pierce Brosnan figure in most respects except he could sing. Leona Lewis actually acted very well and her chemistry with the actor playing Enrico was one of the few nuggets of gold in the movie. Beautiful locations shot exquisitely but I felt wasted on this not quite but not far from being a turkey.
