Been watching the pre-pre game show for the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat(Caliente!) and the Spurs.The Talking Heads are the same as weather men,they overstate the done deal,that is what has already occurred and blow the coming attrection more times than not.With that record,i feel capable of giving them a fair run for the outcome.Just listen to "Steven A"(maybe that A is a clue).They asked him and his partner to give their predictions and why.They both picked the Spurs .Their reason basically been that Lebron is carrying the team and he is not nor can be "ON" for 7 games,that been how long they think series will last.They believe that its about one man against a whole team,as thwy belive Spurs are all producing and work together as one.And they get paid to say things like that!Now,going back to last years finals,i predicted that the Heat would win series because they were unselfish,and even with all the stars,no one let their ego get in the way of what was best for the team,that they played for each other,a fine-tuned unit nd seen how their then opponent,been stars in their oen right,mind you,would lose because they were out to outshine each other and did not melt into one fighting unit.Now,the Spurs do play well together,they have some hot layers and stars also.Yet,the mistake thse two Talking Heafs made,is to be blinded by the hype of their colleges who focus only on Lebron.Now Lebron is numero 1 basketball player in the league,but if you look back on the season,the Heat has been carried through difficulties by almost each member,incuding and especially the bench.Point been,Lebron does not,wil not have to carry the team.Just like last year,the Heat has played AS A FINE TUNED FIGHTING UNIT.Every member of that team playes with no ego,wants to win at least,if not more,for hjs buddies than for himsrlf and more important,they are all,bench included,capable of rising to the occation and making the critical plays to make sure they win,as they ALL have done all year.Finally,Spurs also play as a unit,but the FACT is that the Heat is a much better underfire excecuting team led by the best General in the NBA.Lebron will amaze,treu that.But you will be amazed by the team ad a whole.Heat,in 6 or 7.Billy the Talking Head hads spoken.
