Beer Butter Mushrooms 3 Tablespoons Butter 4 cups Button Mushrooms, Washed 1 cup Beer 1 Tablespoon Fresh Parsley, Chopped 1 Tablespoon Fresh Thyme, Chopped Sea Salt And Ground Black Pepper To Taste Preparation Melt the the butter in a skillet. Add the washed mushrooms to the skillet and toss them around to coat. Pour in the beer, and bring to a simmer on medium-low heat. Add the fresh herbs, sea salt and ground black pepper. Poach the mushrooms for approximately 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. These are flavourful enough to serve as a side on their own, but you can add them to anything!
