Before 1971, China had no Veto right in the UN Security Council, nor was China a permanent member of the Security Council. 1960’s, when the relations between Soviet-Union and china (two communist regimes back then) became deteriorated, the US decided to become an ally of China against Soviet-Union. In 1971, US give china a permanent seat in the Security Council, as a gift and a proof of their new partnership. The question is: who gave US the right to do that? Could any other country have done that? No! Now, you know who really makes decisions in UN. Who runs it and who controls it!
