Before 8:30, Shirley ask for me to get Sheryl because she wanted HER to tuck her in for the night. With the patients of Job she get er dun. I kicked back in the motorized chair to watch Jeff Dunn travel the world. She called out for me a few minutes later, said she just can not get comfortable,(I think this is really anxiety) please help her. We talked and and she said she would be OK, leave the side light on and turn it off when she fell asleep. I got back in my chair and took off to pause, I Cant get Comfortable. I run the slow as molasses motor to a sitting position and go to see what will help. Tried a pillow under her legs that were uneasy. Got back in my chair and, I Cant get Comfortable could I try the chair Me, which one? The Chinese Chair, she said, so I moved my stuff to the La-Z-Boy and got her settled in with constant instructions that she is prone to with this condition. After doing all requested things, I got in the La-Z-Boy and settled down, turned on Jeff. Frank, I need a pillow under my legs, got the pillow. No, Ill be alright, I just have to get comfortable, Frank, Nothing else. I get back in position in the La-Z-Boy with a pillow under each long misused arm and a pillow under my spent knees to keep them from going backward like the toy that danced on a paddle. Turned on Jeff, Frank, I Cant get Comfortable. Back to the bed and got her all tucked in with constant instruction and reminder not to turn out light until she was asleep. I get back in position in the La-Z-Boy with a pillow under each long misused arm and a pillow under my spent knees to keep them from going backward. Turned on Jeff. Frank, I Cant get Comfortable, so we decided to turn her on the operation side with a pillow to hug. Frank, I Cant get Comfortable, so I lay on the 1/4 of the bed left to me and tried soothing her for a while. No soap, we turned her back on her back. Im not comfortable came as I was leaving, Please try a pillow under my legs. Dont turn off the light, you turned it off when you left. Im not going to settle down, just put on country Gospel and got my puter. She apologized about 30 times during this. I was called again after the last sentence and had to take out the leg pillow, it was too thick. Said a prayer at told her she was one fine lady. Oh it hurts to have a love one in this condition. Sheryl reprimanded us earlier for not ask for help in time. Said she didnt want to find one of us on the floor for taking too long to call her. I love her for that, but just can not use up all her resting time. She intimated that if she found me dead on the floor for not asking for help that she was going to kill me. I think when I made a noise earlier, while getting a desk lamp off a shelf, it frightened her, thinking I had fell when I dropped a box. She is right, and we all agreed that we were as a group too damn stubborn. My son and one grand daughter brought me a tall book shelf for beside my chair, I have managed to get some of it organized but will probably have to shuffle a while to get it right. I am putting one file folder on it to reduce the number of trip to the file cabinet over at the desk top. I will have all my braces in reach with most all my medications and magazines at arms reach. I have heard Shirley Yawn a few times, I think the sleeping pill is kicking in. I will check her at least 3 times during the night like always. I managed an hour nap today, so Im good to go. Thank God that he does let her mend some during the night and renew her spirit in the morning. He has given me a very special woman and placed her in my care. Only with His help will I get through this because I feel myself aging every day. If I ever loose my sense of humor, you will know I have reached the breaking point. You have to laugh at your self, who else is funnier. Thank you Lord, for another day with my family. Thanks that I am not out in that rain like I was so many times in my youth. Good Night All.
