Before Congress went on recess for the election, Tea Party - TopicsExpress

Before Congress went on recess for the election, Tea Party extremists killed a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United. A majority in the Senate voted in support of the amendment, but it failed to win the needed 67 votes to pass because not one Republican voted to support it. But 55 senators did the right thing and supported the constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United -- and they deserve our thanks. Thank the senators who supported a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United. act.credoaction/sign/sjres19_ty?sp_ref=57961410.4.9413.e.36162.2&referring_akid=.8218361.StXxbJ&source=mailto_sp
