Tinashe Jorgenson Kachingwe is a singer-songwriter, actress, and former model. Born in Lexington, Kentucky and raised in Los Angeles, Tinashe began her career as a member of the all girl band The Stunners. After the disbandment of the Stunners in 2011, she embarked on a solo career, releasing two critically acclaimed mixtapes, In Case We Die and Reverie. After the release of the mixtapes, Tinashe signed with RCA Records in 2012. Tinashe is also known for her acting, making her acting debut in the television film Cora Unashamed in 2000. She has also voiced for the film The Polar Express alongside Tom Hanks, as well as starring in Akeelah and the Bee in 2006. From 2008 to 2009 Tinashe had a recurring role in the sitcom Two and a Half Men. Tinashe is currently working on her debut solo album, as yet unnamed, due for release later this year.
