Before I get into answering how do you promote effectively ; I would Like to applaud one artist I have always admired Boosie . I remember when I was in the military I use to bump boosie all the time ; Always have been a fan of this man .He was always real , uncut , raw , and unfiltered ; Thats a rare find in todays industry . Now hes out and he has dropped Life after death row ; my honest opinion is that its a classic . Its still the Boosie we all have known but you can hear that hes older and much more mature in this project ; hes teaching lessons , hes telling his story , and he reaches out to all of those going through it . I believe Boosie is going to take the industry by storm because not many people are doing what he is doing . Now lets get into branding101 or promotion101 : Beyonce , Drake, Yo Gotti , Boosie, and any other public figure can promote anything because they already have a brand . Your first two years and even after that you should focus on branding yourself ; create a proffesional image ( photos , bio , website ,social media presence ) , minimize promoting yourself , network and support others consistently , give them yourself uncut and raw ( Understand your struggles are actually good to use ) .on your social media accounts post things they can relate to and that will eventually create shares and reposts , invest in advertisements .
