Before I get started, let me say Im not looking for sympathy or pity by saying any of this. Its no secret that as a single mom of 2, money gets tight every now and then, especially with having to buy a new car. This past week was one of those times. I was a little upset I wasnt going to be able to be the fun mom, and take the kids to do fun things, or go buy some fun stuff.. well Saturday, we went to a FREE Barrel Race, put on by JC Cowboy Church.. the kids really enjoyed it. Sunday, we attended church, had our usual nap, then played horseshoes in our backyard and made our own ice cream sundaes. This morning I made the comment to Kylan that I hoped he had had a wonderful weekend. He looked at me with the biggest smile on his face and said, Mom, we had a wonderful Mothers Day weekend. This just goes to show the material things dont matter; TIME DOES! Im so thankful my children are grateful, even when we cant go and do things or go buy new stuff. #happymomma #hadtobrag
