Before I got an admission into University, something always worried me. It is seeing people( area brothers) that finished school but Jobless for years. I always say to myself, will I go to the university for four years and turn street heroes like these broszez too? It was a thought I couldnt expunge from my mind. I had a street brother who I always interact with then. He was an undergraduate in one of these great polytechnics as at that time. He will tell me...most of those you see are unemployable. When he started working in a bank, he continued to say the same thing… how he witnessed the recruitment process of the bank and how many graduates couldnt even impress them. The situation is now bad. It has graduated from graduates being unemployable to employable graduates being jobless. What is my point really? Many undergraduates dont do periodic assessment of their intelligence quotient as they climb the ladder of graduation. Are you better (technically, analytically, innovatively, logically, attitudinally etc) as a sophomore compared to being a fresher in the university.??? Are you more knowledgeable? You must do this periodic assessment. If you dont, you will just be counting years till your dumb and empty skull 💀 is returned back to you after four years. When I got home at the end of my 100 level, I removed the disc of a song(or was it a movie?) from its case and put the disc in the case of another song/movie. It stressed my dad to find that disc. When he noticed that I was the one, he scolded me in a way that helped me through out my stay on Campus. His illiterate self said to me in a friendly-angry manner, if you cannot organize discs in the right cases after a year in university, should I assume you are wasting my scarce money by sending you to school? you wouldnt know how powerful those words helped my life. I talked to myself while alone, if there are no clear signals to these people after a year in university, how am I better than them? So, anytime I was going home after the end of each level in university, I am always very careful with my reasoning, my actions, my carriage, my everything because there must be a difference between those that pride in certificates and those who dont have !!! Ask yourself, Are you dumber, wiser, or the same with those big certificates? The answer is for your use! I dont need it!
