Before I head off to bed, I had to take a moment to say that I have TRULY had an awesome weekend, even though I had to attend the funeral of a wonderful man/friend on today... On Saturday, before I left to head back home to visit with my family, God opened unexpected doors for me here in Durham and when I arrived in my hometown, more doors (even the small ones) were opened in my favor. I had a WONDERFUL, LONG yet fun photo shoot with over 2,500 pictures taken by a great, certified and professional photographer for some awesome things that are happening and that are about to happen in my life. Oh how I saw my future expanding on this day! My kids and I talked one on one as a family, we settled discord, and we learned how to work together as a household instead of apart. My sister and I bonded as usual and all was well with life... On today (Sunday), God was still allowing me to walk in favor. I heard an awesome message today preached by Pastor Anthony Rawlings at my moms church and afterwards while attending a funeral, God even brought comfort to my heart after seeing a great friend of mines laying in a casket and saying my final good-bye to him. It was hard indeed, but I now trust God and I have learned to NOT question Him, but instead to trust Him and pray for those that need Him the most in times of death... Anyways, Im back home safely, Ive completed all my exercises, cleaned my house, prepared for my Monday, spent time with God, and now Im feeling whole again! With that being said, FB, NO MATTER how things looked last week just remember that God can turn your mess into your message, your tests into your testimony, your pain into your joy and your enemies into your footstool!...
