Before I head to bed, I would like to thank all the pointer/rottie people that made Canfield Cluster such a good weekend. The Ohio Pointer Club does a smashing job with running a specialty and supported show. Karen Powala Gaupp did a bang up job with trophies. Annie Cullen-Tormey made sure we stayed hydrated, Kathy Parks and Susan London did a super job off organizing the meals for the weekend. Bill Bradl and Richard Begeal did a great job on the grills. To all the exhibitors that showed- your dogs looked great and all were fine examples of the breed. I am sure judges had a difficult with the quality that was in the ring. I know you have heard me say it before, but we REALLY do have a good time at the shows that carry from the rings to the setups. It doesnt matter who wins or not, people are supportive and encouraging. We come together for the love of the breed and not bias on bloodlines. I think some of the first time exhibitors to the cluster can confirm this. I hope you consider joining us next year. It would be great to fill up 2 -3 camping lots with friends.
