Before I painted this piece I wrote my thoughts out on the canvas and spent some time praying and meditating about the message that would come through the painting. I also embraced a softer, more ethereal color palette which exudes a sense of calm and peace. What I didnt expect was that I painted this upside down of what you see, and when I turned it over I could not unsee her face. Amazing when that happens. Written on the Canvas: The effort to find ones true voice is as important as the discovery. For it is in the moments, the day to day steps that one takes where notes of the voice are found and revealed. Ultimately the collection of those notes gives birth to the symphony of life and beauty. 24 by 24 Acrylic on Canvas
