Before I say anything about yesterdays MSIC set, I have to thank the reason that it happened when it did. Yes, I put in the work and the self-coaching and the energy and support I felt from everyone in the room and around the world greatly contributed to this goal finally being completed BUT I can say 100%, heck 150%, that I would not have even attempted competing yesterday if it werent for the encouragement of Vice. Vice really is my best friend and he knows me well. He knows what my goals are, what I am capable of, when I am doubting myself and when to give me just the right amount of push. I am also quite sensitive so he knows not to push too hard or it will also make me quit. Vice gave me just the right amount of encouragement in simply telling me to try TRY. He didnt tell me to go out there and hit any PRs or to expect anything unrealistic. He simply reminded me about what he knows about me from being by my side almost every second for the past few years. Vice reminded me that I have often been in challenging situations but they were never reason enough to simply quit and that this should not be an exception. After the flu he was finally starting to ease up on me, lol, but by then he was already in my head and there was no going back. Thank you for being there for me babe and for knowing exactly what to say, just how much to push and when to pull back and let me figure things out for myself. I love you and I am going to tackle you down when I see you in 2 more weeks!!
