Before I say what the past 24 hours have been like, let me first give our Father the glory and praise He is so worthy of. Yesterday after our day at the zoo with our 2 year old Grandaughter, minutes after leaving the zoo she became stricken with severe abdomen pain. As the evening wore on, she became very sick and in so much pain. Her mommy took her to the hospital where they began running a line of test. Finally this morning after a CT scan they determined her illness, she had a tumor on her left ovary the size of a lemon that entwined and twisted itself up through the Fallopian tube. They had originally thought the tumor was in the bladder and would have to remove a portion of the bladder. Once they had began the procedure they had no choice but to remove the ovary and Fallopian tube and once that was removed was able to examine the bladder and determine it was clean. All other organs were clean and now we wait for the lab results on the tumor. This little girl is such a strong little spirit for what she has endured over the past 24 hours. Watching your child, grandchild suffer is the hardest thing to go through and I know it was by our Fathers precious love, strength and peace He showered upon us that we got through it. I am so thankful to all our familys and friends who lifted Avery up in prayer, those prayers were felt and answered. It is such a blessing and brings so much peace to know no matter what we face in life, there are those in our life who are obedient and carry our burden to the Father and lay it at His feet for us.
