Before embarking on a personal voyage of psychedelic spirituality - TopicsExpress

Before embarking on a personal voyage of psychedelic spirituality (manipulated into it though I was), I had become an atheist and an Anarcho-Capitalist. I can intelectually grasp how such a worl could work. I cannot really imagine how a moneyless world work, though in a way I feel that moneylessness will be (somewhat ironically) be the inevitable result of Anarco-Capitalism. Every system has its flaws. Capitalism offers great rewards, which means it also presents terrible risk. This is the way the world works. You do not have tge promise of reward without the threatvof risk. Doesnt happen. The benefits of capitalism? Increased efficiency, greater productivity with less work. This will ultimately lead to work as we know it becoming obsolete as society nears a state which I call hyper-abundance (no one wanting for anything). The risk of capitalism? Within a government system capitalist systems are incredibly vulnerable to abuse and corruption. The government will and does run a protection racket which prevents the People from holding big business accountable. Socialists applaud government for minimum wage. Yet they refuse to see that if not for government that the workers would have been much more able to stand up for themselves in order to gain the higher wages they deserve. Humanity will need to keep finding things to incentivise us to excel. Hyper-abundance will carry the horrifying risk of cultural stagnation, and stagnation is death. We need to be disciplined. We must create a world where everyone can prosper, but to where that prosperity does not come easily. Hardship breeds discipline and strength. An easy life for the masses makes for a weak species. Capitalism is about incentiving people to excel. Most dont see this because theyve been propagandized into expecting things to be handed to them on a silver platter, or they cant see past their next paycheck. They havent been taught a capitalist mentality. Theyve been taught a socialist mentality and then tossed into bizarre Socialist/Capitalist-State-run bastardized system. So they, understably, dont see what capitalism itself is about. By the way, if you own a business, congratulations. Whether you realize it or not, you are a capitalist.
