Before going to sleep, I just want to share some of my work with you... The heart of the tax benefits is that, if you are investing directly in a social responsibility project or program, the money is not a profit. You are giving it away to fund a social or environmental cause. Therefore, obviously, this money cannot be taxed. This fact does not signify at all that a FP should be treated like a NP organization or a hybrid social enterprise. The discussion is more about how this should be calculated. Lets say that the total profit of XEVIL CORP is a million dollars. They have to pay 40% of the profit in taxes. That means that he will keep 600 000 and give away 400 000. The entrepreneurs do not trust the government and decide that they will invest the 400 000 dollars in social enterprises. How the tax benefit can operate for this company? Can they skip paying the tax by investing the money they would have pay in social change and wealth? I would say yes, as long as they are really investing on it. This bring me to the following argumentation: With increasingly low returns of happiness resulting from exorbitant amounts of wealth not contributing for a better world for all, there is truthfully no practical reason for these people to retain such wealth. There are already some groups of people that are working very hard to achieve the purpose of changing this reality. There are a lot of people with monetary resources willing to invest in change such as Bill Gates. He has started investing his great amount of wealth through his Foundation. He should get tax benefits. This discussion can only extend to the usage of money apportioned by the government to be used for the benefit of social welfare. Some avenues of improving quality of life are neglected altogether, such as investment in education, which is disproportionately low. Unfortunately, as much money is provided for social welfare programs, the predominant portion of the U.S. budget is delegated toward military expenditures. On a global scale, military and police expenses are constantly misused. They enable states to not only defend their borders from aggression or citizens from delinquency, but also to invade, conquer, land grab, oppress and repress people that are merely fighting for personal rights. On the side of the companies, one of the problems is that incentives given to enterprises are based upon activities and not upon a holistic examination. In order to fix this problem we must create systems that improve the way economic resources are distributed to achieve a new order, where people can finally enjoy equal opportunity to live with self-reliance and achieve their own personal happiness.
