Before having been engaged into the matters of oppressed Palestine, I had no clue about Zionism, and it was not my first choice to collect information about. But now I wanted to know - and thats what I found out about: Zionism denotes a nationalist and politically ideology of East-european Ashkenazic Jews, that has at it´s aim the establishment of a Jewish country in the territory defined as the historic Land of Israel, also referred to as Palestine. Since 2000 years they have left, calling it homeland is utterly ridiculous. And to remark - only after 430 years in Egypt the ancient Hebrew remembered that old tale of a promised land and invaded Canaan. Their ancestors must not have taken that Divine promise too seriously, living nearly half a millennium in Egypt instead... When Theodor Herzl (picture) founded Zionism, it was not at all the desire of Jews allover the world to move to Palestine in a Jewish State. Till today, only in the USA lives the same number of Jews as in Israel. Including Jews who living happily integrated allover the world, the number of Nationalistic Zionist Israelis is rather miserable. And the Homeland for all Jews is rather a huge fail with horrendous consequences for the entire world ...
