Before mom went into surgery she asked that I update the family here of her condition, because we have such a large family and we are scattered all over the country. After talking to the family members who were at the hospital, which include her husband, sisters, daughter, son-in-law and grandson, they all felt that we should let you know exactly what the situation is. So with that heres what we know. They did find cancer, which they believe to have originated in her ovaries. They tried to get everything that they found. She must now recover from the surgery and then decisions will be made as to what steps are necessary for further treatment. Please keep our beautiful mom, wife, grandma and sister in your prayers as well as our family as we support her through this journey.
