Before the NFL gets carried away with Ray Rice.. which i think they have and overreacted with the release of the video they need to obtain some form of consistency. 1. Was Ray Rice convicted?? No... no charges were ever filed and he spent 0 time in jail. (Micheal Vick released after serving 18 month sentence allowed to play) 2. Greg hardy (carolina panthers) CONVICTED OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE was allowed to play week 1 while pending his appeal. He was tried and convicted in court found guilty and is yet not indefinitely suspended. 2A. Ray Mcdonald (san fran 49ers) arrested after altercation with his 10 week PREGNANT wife. He played week 1 despite his coach saying he would not keep a player that commits domestic violence on his team. 3. The NFL needs to be consistent and realize the message of MOB handling it is sending. Do not confuse my stance i am opposed to domestic violence. But i do support consistency and justice. Ray Rice is being treated unfairly though our justice system was never involved. Dont become a part of the MOB in the heat of the moment. Really evaluate a stance and depict a fair stance. AND STAND BY IT IN ALL CASES NOT JUST THE ONES THE MEDIA BRINGS TO YOUR ATTENTION.
