Before the introduction of various current draconian religion(E.g. Christianity, Islam, Hinduism etc) to Africa. Africa has its religion which was full of flaws, just like the current religion they adopted. During the practice of the original African religion, theyve their main God and the smaller gods(Just a typical example of Christianity: god the father, son and holy spirit). And theyve got people they call their ancestors. These people are dead people that helped in creating the religious laws and they need to be consulted in spirit before any laws are amended. The ancestors are consulted in parallel with the gods of the land to now intercede to the great central God to permit the change in law. If you study deeply into African religion and other religion, youll find out theyve got similarities. The similarities is that they believed in the Central deity. Even though I was born a christian, it never stopped me from researching on almost the whole religion. Ive prayed in Churches, Mosques, Temples, Shrines etc. In fact Ive visited almost all religious place to study religion. Im not in search of God, but rather I want to know why every single religion was created. I respect all religious views but the moment you try to force it down my throat, thats when Ill revolt against you.
