Before the text messages and the emojis. Before twitter rants and fb dissertations. Before memes, hashtags, and sub posting. We spoke, face to face. men saw the tears on the women who found out they cheated. Women saw the hurt on mens faces when they found out theyre leaving. Where going out was all about you and that person and there was no such thing as a selfie. Pictures captured and posted on instagram were only memories of a special day and not everyones viewing pleasure. Relationships were made official by holding hands or a kiss in public and not by a facebook status. When talking about your day to a spouse or a close friend instead of a tweet. Lets have a moment of old school, lets go back. Where talking to someone with actual words instead of fingers was where its at. I promise you will see stronger friendships and relationships. Romance will actually be intimate and not a show. creative ideas that come from the soul to show u that I value u and u r mine, and not something I just do for the vine. Little gestures would be so kind instead of being stuck to our phones and miss out on precious time. This may be long but I pray people take heed to this, really think and choose. If we dont find balance we will become the machines that we use.
