Before the year comes to an end let me say this. Several months ago I wrote a letter to the Executive Council of Saba asking them to put a traffic mirror on the road from by the Governor House to their by the corner of the late Dolphie Collins house. To date they did not even have the decency to acknowledge receipt of the letter with my suggestion. No traffic mirror has been placed either. Yesterday Tuesday afternoon I witnessed a accident there between two vehicles a pickup and a truck driven by my uncle and a brother in law of one of the commissioners. In a case like this both vehicle owners should hold the Executive Council personally liable for the damages. The road going Under the Hill has become extremely busy now especially after the opening of those so call social houses and the Executive Council has done absolutely nothing to try and make that area safer for vehicles and pedestrians. You have young children driving their bicycles in that dangerous area. One thing I know had my uncle suffered any major issue yesterday somebody backside would have been dragged into Court. But here again it goes to show its a government that does not care about people life. That is why it is time that the people of The Bottom and St. Johns open their eyes wide come March 18th. Enough is enough.
