Before there was me, and before there was foster pups Jack (pka Balmain), Murphy, Pudding, Buddy (pka Pancake), Porkchop & Periwinkle there was NOX! This here is Nox (from Max & Nox. Its a dogs life. ). Noxy was Ma & Pas first foster baby from Big Dog Rescue and he is just lovely. This special pup was fostered by my rents not only once but twice (my rents have always said theyd take back any of their fosters if it was needed)! What makes Nox just so special is that he had quite a bit of upheaval before landing on his paws in his forever home and yet he is this amazingly chilled out, super sweet, docile, goofy, gentle, squishy faced big pup. Nox has had many homes in his young life of just 4 years, and some of those homes have been pounds and shelters. He has deep scars of cigarette burns and cut marks but these are just scars on his skin and not on his personality. For the past year Nox has been living it up in sunny Melbourne with his adoptive forever family. He has an older golden retriever brother called Max, 3 human sisters and a Ma & Pa who love him dearly. My Ma & Pa got to have a little reunion morning with Noxy today in Melbourne, where he surprised them and totally remembered who they were (its been a long time so there was some doubt whether he would remember). Nox gave them lots of bear hugs and puppy kisses and introduced his brother and human sisters to his foster parents. It was just like old times. Noxy is a true rescue success story where is shows that sometimes you just need a second (or third or forth or fifth) chance in life.
