Before this day closes, let me just send a big Mahalo for the many many phone calls, texts and fb messages of Birthday wishes sent my way. I am so thankful for all of the love received today. Now, to my Mama Twinkle... thank you for spending the afternoon with me and for the yummy birthday cake. Chocolate is healing. ..lol...Thank you for this day...where really YOU did all the work. I just showed up. All 10 lbs of me...hehehe. You mean everything to me. I love u. To my brothers Wade and Monoiki...Thank you for the oh so sweet pikake rope and for coming by to see me. I dont remember the last time I got a rope especially for me. Of course its with Auntie now. Ill just enjoy the onaona..aside from my Daddy, you two are the most important men in my life and I love you big time...To Stacia, thank you for spending the evening with me and treating me to Vietnamese for dinner. Was oishi!.... I hold a special place in my heart for u Aunchee and Im so grateful for our talks. Youve become a very good friend and Im so thankful for that. To Momz Bridgette, thank you for taking such good care of me these last couple days and taking the time to just hang out with me and make me laugh. Its been absolutely helpful. And thanks for the beautiful roses. I love them. Havent gotten roses in a long time either :\ oh well. My birthday wasnt exactly what I anticipated it would be a few days ago, but it was just what I needed. Despite being pretty ill and in the midst of closing a significant chapter in my life...i felt love family and friendships today and it reminds me that my cup is still full and God is so good to me. I am blessed and so looking forward to seeing what this year has in store for me. Thanks to you ALL for making this day so special, and reminding me that my life is not over...its just beginning.
