Before this holiday comes to a close, I want to say how thankful I am for Miranda Olzman. She deserves her own day, but I dont trust myself to be timely before the end of the month. So Miranda, thank you for being an amazing first wife to Barrick Arnold, for teaching me the value of feeding him Red Bull, for turning me on to Drop Dead Diva and being Sephies first babysitter. In all seriousness, our communications are among my most treasured. You confront me when theres something Im missing. You dont merely challenge, but expect me to rise to the next level in my critical thinking about so many important issues. We dont always agree and those conversations spawn some pretty intense clash, but the value always lies in the exchanges themselves. You may not like Tori Amos, but Ive learned to overlook that small quirk to value you, all of you. Your value in my life, and that of our mutual husbands, cannot be overstated.
