Before understanding the Avtaar Katha one must known Essence of Shrimadh Bhagwatji Shrimadh Bhagwatji is true Swaroop of Purna-purshotam Bhagwan Shri Krishna. When Shri Udhavji, Sakha (friend), a great philosopher, a scholar and adviser asked about His (Shri Krishna) absent from the earth, {end of visible form of Krishna Lila to material beings i.e., individuals on the earth} and going back to Vankutdham, what will happen to mankind. Mankind will end up in chaos and disturbance, he (Shri Udhavji) added. The earth will no longer be safe place for habitat. Shri Krishna gracefully replied “I am not leaving the earth and will always be here on the earth as long as Sun is shinning but my presence will not be felt by those who do not believe in Me. I reside in Shrimadh Bhagwatji. On the earth this will be my Sawroop. Person having faith in me should have faith in Shrimadh Bhagwatji. Each and every Iskand of Shrimadh Bhagwatji’s i.e., 12 Iskands are different parts of My body”. Here is the brief description of different parts of body as compared to twelve iskand of Shrimadh Bhagwatji:- The first iskand is Shri Dhak-shin-charna-vind (right foot) of Shri Goverdhan-dharan Shri Nathji and is known as Adhikar lila The second iskand is Shri Vaam-charan-vind (left foot) of Shri Goverdhan-dharan Shri Nathji and is known as Shadhan lila. The third iskand is Shri Dhak-shin-bhahu (right arm) of Shri Goverdhan-dharan Shri Nathji and is known as Sarg lila. The fourth iskand is Shri Vaam-bhahu (left arm) of Shri Goverdhan-dharan Shri Nathji and is known as Visarg lila. The fifth iskand is Shri Dhak-shin-sthal (right thigh) of Shri Goverdhan-dharan Shri Nathji and is known as Poshan lila. The sixth iskand is Shri Vaam-sthal (left thigh) of Shri Goverdhan-dharan Shri Nathji and is known as Istan lila. The seventh iskand is Shri Dhak-shin-shri-hasth (right hand) of Shri Goverdhan-dharan Shri Nathji and is known as Uthi lila. The eighth iskand is Shri Dhak-shin-stunn (right breast) of Shri Goverdhan-dharan Shri Nathji and is known as Man-vantar lila. The ninth iskand is Shri Vaam-stunn (left breast) of Shri Goverdhan-dharan Shri Nathji and is known as Is-shanu-katha lila. The tenth iskand is Shri Hridhay (heart) of Shri Goverdhan-dharan Shri Nathji and is known as Niroodh lila. The eleventh iskand is Shri Mastak (forehead) of Shri Goverdhan-dharan Shri Nathji and is known as Muk-ti lila. The twelfth iskand is Shri Vaam-shri-hasth (left hand) of Shri Goverdhan-dharan Shri Nathji and is known as Ahashara lila. Shri Krishna gave the above answer to Shri Udhavji, than why is Shri Goverdhan-dharan Shri Nathji written there instead of Shri Krishna. Answer is very simple, Shri Krishna and Shri Nathji is one and same, But in Pustimarg Jagadh Guru Achariyacharan Shri Vallabh, our Gurudev named Shri Krishna as Shri Nathji, and gave us Shri Nathji’s swaroop as our Isht-dev. When Shri Vallabhachariaji took avataar on the same day and same time Shri Goverdhan-dharan Shri Nathji also took avataar at Shri Giri-raj-ji, he being Shri Krishna himself appeared holding Shri Giri-raj-ji of Saras-wat Kalp. in that era Shri Krishna saw that Indra, had ordered clouds to rain and destroy the Shri-madh Gokul and those who had immense faith in Shri Krishna came under His protection and requested Him to save them from Indra’s Koop (curse). To protect Shri-madh Gokul and Brajva-shis their and their real Dhan herd of cows He raised Shri Giri-raj-ji and hold it like an umbrella on the last finger of His left hand. Same Swaroop had appeared in Shri Giri-raj-ji therefore Ahachariyacharan Shri Vallabh named Him Shri Nathji.
