Before watching Mickeys video thanking everyone for their donations to my Triathlon for Its a Pittie Rescue, please know that there are no words sufficient for me to truly express my gratitude to all of you that supported me and donated. Last year was the first time I did this for charity, and I thought the novelty factor would wear off this year. But I was wrong, and more was donated this year than last. $3,005 was raised to help a lot of pitties out there in need of vet care, food, shelter, and perhaps more than anything else, kindness and understanding. In the process, maybe we even changed a few opinions about these misunderstood and misrepresented dogs. This was a 2.5 month fundraising effort, but they need help 12 months a year so please take some moments to consider them throughout the year. Finally, I must regretfully inform you all that I will not being doing the triathlon next year to raise funds for Its a Pittie Rescue ... But dont worry --- Ive got something else planned, and its pretty cool ;) (in Hollywood, they call that a cliffhanger). Thanks again everyone!!
