Before we announce the next public screenings of THE OBS: A SINGAPORE STORY, heres a big thank you to each and every one of you who braved the rain and the morning to attend our Singapore International Film Festival premiere. The screening was sold out! We had a blast finally sharing with you this labour of love to The Observatory, #SGmusic and yes, Singapore itself. Thanks as well to the cast and crew, friends and family who attended Fridays private screening at The Substation, the crowdfunders, without which this documentary would not have been possible, our media friends, the SGIFF, National Museum of Singapore and The Substation Theatre for hosting us, Real Food Novena and PHO HANH Delights who so kindly sponsored food out of support of homegrown productions, and everyone who believed in us, especially The Obs: past, present and forever. We would like to invite you to send us a short praise blurb of the documentary for publicity purposes––only your initials will be used, and your word-of-mouth review would really help us tremendously as we begin to tour internationally! Feel free to leave your comment below, or email it to us at obsdocu@gmail. We really appreciate all the love and thoughtful comments over the weekend, but if I was to highlight one, it wasnt even about THE OBS, but on a random Observatory video online: “You have no idea how much this interview has impacted me. Thank you for being who you are. I may not be able to fully appreciate your music, but your dedication to art, philosophy to music and, most of all, sincerity moves me.” To me it sums up our journey, film, and all the gratefulness we feel. Thank you thank you thank you xx Dan PHOTOS: Vicks Yang and Dean Aziz
