Before we start the match report, we would like say a big congratulation to Paul (Hammy) Hamilton and his lovely wife on the birth of their beautiful twin boys on Tuesday. The Amigos played the Primacy Olympic on Wednesday night at home, Stewart (Robot) Davison was on first for the Amigos and was extremely unlucky not to win, Dan (Dolbro) Mulligan suffered the same fate in the second frame. Paul (My tip isnt quite so retro any more) Rafferty was defeated by a emphatic Brian Crilly, Eugene (Gino) Rafferty played the fourth frame and took the opportunity to win this frame to get the monkey off his back and pick up his first win of the season, three one to the Olympic. Ben (The Claw) Robinson had an off night and was unfortunate not to win the fifth. Gareth (The Turk) Jones kicked off the second half off the night with a win for the Amigos to make it four two. The Amigos had to win the remainder of the frames to win the match but this was not going to happen as Chris (The Wee Lad) Graham and Kristian (V.C) McMinn were on the wrong end of a result. Che (Mumbles) Regan won the ninth to restore some pride and Neil (HalfaHead) McConnell couldnt get the win in the last match and his unbeaten run has come to an end. The match finished seven three leaving the Amigos looking for their first points in the league and with a run of easier matches in the next few weeks and signings of Andy (A Mac) McCrory and Ricky (Big Rick) Crooke that win should be just around the corner. Unlucky Amigos, I think our toughest test is behind us, we would also like to thank our sponsor The Curious Cat Cafe for the munch at half time.
