Before you accuse me, take a look at yourself.... If you listen to the noise from the conservative pundits accusing the democrats of shutting down the government today and you believe it, then listen to this 7 minute speech from Elizabeth Warren. This is the deregulation that conservatives are fighting for and willing to risk a shutdown over. Short story is that the House republicans put a provision in the spending bill that is due today to repeal regulations that were put in place to protect taxpayers from bailing out financial corporations like we had to do in 2008.
